2004 Stickers Available In Mid-November!

Red Bins (Co-Mingled) & Newspaper & Corrugated Paper Same Day as Refuse Pickup.

BULK STICKERS Available in Sheets of Six For $18.00.

NO RECYCLING, CO-MINGLED, OR NEWSPRINT WILL BE ACCEPTED IN PLASTIC BAGS.

MATERIAL COLLECTED NOT COLLECTED PREPARATION
GLASS

Clear, green, and brown bottles and jars. Window and plate glass, light bulbs, crystal, pyrex, and ceramics. Remove caps and rings. Rinse beverage containers and wash food containers. DO NOT BREAK GLASS! Place in recycling container.
NEWSPAPER

Newspapers, comics, and glossy advertising inserts. Magazines, telephones books, and junk mail. Stack newspapers and place in heavy brown paper bags or tie with twine (do not use wire). Place the bagged or tied newspapers at the curb. No paper curbside in plastic bags.
CORRUGATED PAPER

Double walled cardboard layered with waffle in between. Press board, pizza boxes, shirt boxes, and cereal boxes. Flattened, piled, and tiedwith twine (or place in paper bags).
HIGH-GRADE PAPER

{rechigh paper}

Manilla envelopes, fax paper, copy paper, and computer print outs. Waxed napkins, candy wrappers, paper towels, and brown lunch bags. Place in paper bags or box.
ALUMINUM CANS

{recycle alum}

Beverage cans. Foil, foil trays, and aluminum lawn chairs. Rinse cans and place them in the recycling container. They may be flattened or left intact. Labels can be left on.
STEEL & BI-METALLIC CANS

Any  food container such as vegetables, fruit, soup, and juice. Aerosol, oil cans, and paint cans. Rinse cans and place them in the recycling container. They may be flattened or left intact.
PLASTICS

I.  PET (E)

Soft drink bottles, peanut butter jars, and toiletries.

At this time, if there is no numbr code on a container or if it does not fit into categories 1, 2, or 3, place the item into the regular garbage.

Look for symbols and/or codes on the bottom of containers:

Lids or caps should be removed and placed into regular garbage. Containers should be rinsed and cleaned. Plyable plastics, like 2-liter bottles, must be flattened. Place in recycling container.

Do not place co-mingled curbside in plastic bags for collection.

NO STYROFOAM ACCEPTED.

II.  HDPE

Colored: laundry and dish detergents, bleaches, and fabric softners.

Clear: milk, water, juice, and punch jugs.

III.   PVC

{recycle pvc}

Mineral water bottles, salad and vegetable oil bottles, floor polishes, and mouthwash containers.
